About the Oregon State Arthropod Collection

The Oregon State Arthropod Collection is an academic biodiversity research facility that specializes in Arthropoda: the group of invertebrates that includes insects, spiders, mites and some other groups (more about our holdings).

We are located in Corvallis, Oregon in Cordley Hall and managed by the Department of Integrative Biology in the College of Science.  Our primary users are biologists, conservationists and citizen scientists studying biodiversity science and/or conservation.  However, we are also involved provide support for the instructional and outreach/extension mission of the university by engaging with students (graduate and undergraduate) and the public regularly.
